Beskrivning

Matildas midfielder Katrina Gorry became a household name during Australia's captivating 2023 Women's World Cup campaign, but her journey to football stardom was far from straightforward. After years battling eating disorders and contemplating retirement from the sport she'd loved since age six, everything changed when she embarked on solo IVF treatments. The birth of daughter, Harper, in 2021 revolutionized Gorry's perspective, rekindling her passion for football and fostering newfound respect for her body's capabilities. Her story embodies resilience and determination - a gutsy athlete who not only achieved her dreams but transcended them through personal transformation.
