<p><em>Why Is She Mad at Me?</em> is the story of two Artic animals who work through conflict in their friendship. Taqu inadvertently insults Tiu-Tiu’s drawing. With the help of her friends, Taqu understands what she has done wrong and how to make amends. Throughout the story, there are lessons about friendship, how to communicate when there are problems, sharing feelings in expected ways, and the importance of being careful with our words, all of which are important for being part of a community. </p>
