He was a visiting professor at the University of Alberta, Canada; and at the universities in Tromsoe (Norway); Pisa (Italy); Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada); Hyderabad (India), and Tokyo (Japan). He has organized several international meetings on theoretical chemistry.
