As well as currently chairing a new organisation (APD Support UK) to campaign for wider recognition and providing a website of the same name and several online APD support groups, she has written a non-fiction book on Auditory Processing Disorder for children, parents and professionals: "Can I Tell You About Auditory Processing Disorder." Her second book about APD will be available for publication on 18th March 2021 and can be pre-ordered: "Auditory Processing Disorder (APD): Identification, Diagnosis and Strategies for Parents and Professionals" based on almost 20 years of experience in this area.In 2016 Alyson also began writing supernatural fiction for adults and "The Marlin Chronicles" was born. Shockingly, APD is an almost 'unheard' of condition, however it is very common and often exists with other conditions/disorders. If you are a parent or adult with any concerns about yours or your child's learning or other difficulties and the causes, this book is well worth reading.
