Ignatian Examen

The Examen is the one prayer St Ignatius couldn’t do without. For centuries it has been at the centre of Jesuit life. A simple prayer, it directs you to find God in your daily experience. With practice, you can learn to discern how God is conversing with you in the ups and downs of your day. Your feelings of frustration and joy and your daily encounters with family, friends, colleagues and even strangers become the basis of a daily conversation with God, where you and God speak as close friends. Brendan McManus SJ takes you through the five steps of the Examen, teaching you how to use it to make better decisions each day and to find where God is leading you in your life.
