Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Dorothy and Toto leave Kansas under a cyclone and wake in Oz. Baum's road tale as spoken adventure: Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, Cowardly Lion on yellow brick toward the Emerald City, each named by what they lack. Witches ahead and behind; a Wizard who is a balloonist with a curtain; silver shoes that were always the way home. Friendship as footfall and talk; fraud confessed; the farm that was enough.
