‘All in all, this well-composed and stimulating work is mainly the result of a bibliographical survey. It brings in a new form the fruits of the unpublished and published research of Roger Hanoune on mosaics and Yvon Thébert on architecture. The depth of the subject, the clarity of style, the enlightening reasoning and the questions will certainly feed the reflection of the specialists of the domus. The well-chosen and well-kept archival and photographic documents taken during the Author's brief visits to the archaeological site (and not official missions) accompanying the remarks provide good additional information.’ - Moheddine Chaouali (2025): Bryn Mawr Classical Review
