At a time when SEMH is high on the agenda in all schools, The Feelings Furballs is a fantastic tool for supporting young people to deal with their emotions and feelings. It will be accessible for all ages in the primary years but could also be used by older students with additional needs. For many years, I have campaigned for the teaching of the vocabulary associated with emotions and feelings from a very young age to enable our children to be able to communicate to us how they are feeling. The Feelings Furballs does this brilliantly. The book offers a school all the resources it would need to implement the Feelings Furballs as a whole school approach to embedding the vocabulary of emotions and feelings to support the SEMH curriculum for all pupils.
