On the Road Encounters in Luke-Acts

Baban argues on theological and literary grounds that Luke's ontheroad encounters, especially those belonging to the postEaster period, are part of his complex theology of "the Way." Jesus' teaching and that of the apostles is presented by Luke as a challenging answer to the Hellenistic reader's thirst for adventure, good literature, and existential paradigms.
