The stories and instruction in the Old Testament book of Exodus seem more at home in a museum than in today's world. Topics covered are the exodus event itself; its significance in contemporary theologies of liberation; Moses at Sinai; the Law in Exodus; the tabernacle; and how we should preach Exodus.

Brian is principal of Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. Previously he taught at the University of Aberdeen and Moore Theological College. Brian is the author or editor of over a dozen books, and a New Testament scholar of international reputation. He grew up in southwest Sydney and spent sixteen years studying and working overseas before returning to Australia in 2000. His ministry experience has ranged from student work and the local church to theological education, a field in which he has been serving for most of the last twenty years.Paul R. Williamson is lecturer in Old Testament, Hebrew and Aramaic at Moore College, Sydney. He is the author of Sealed with an Oath, a contributor to New Dictionary of Biblical Theology and Dictionary of the Old Testament, and coeditor of Exploring Exodus.
