   Beguiling!

   I truly don't know where to start with this one! It is a deeply powerful book that could quite frankly be used for good or bad (the section on charisma is reminiscent of cult leaders ¿) Have you ever thought that your natural charms are all that's needed to have your significant other groveling at your feet in worship of you ¿ and then wondered why it didn't work out that way? Have you had an eye on someone and been at a loss on how to proceed? Perhaps it was a job situation, where you needed to get someone on your side but didn't have the wits on how to go about it? Well, this book gives ancient wisdoms on the right hacks to get you where you want to be, while your counterparty remains in blissful ignorance. The book is so well researched and has such an impressive collection of stories (including from dated texts) related to each point, that you don't so much doubt the veracity of the statements, but perhaps more your own ability (or interest) to put them into play. You may be thinking that you don't actually want to seduce anyone, but a virtue of the book is it could also potentially show you seduction "traps" that you've fallen for before. Just light bulb moments scattered throughout the journey! There is commentary on how to seduce whole sections of the population i.e. the games politicians play. My take is that information is power. If you can see how the populace got played, you're better placed to be forgiving of them, and so avoid the ulcer from unnecessary high-strung political discourse. Of course, if you're politically minded yourself, it could provide the right cues that help you grab your seat! Given the weight of the content, it was a remarkably easy read. I had a highlighter in hand, and this will be a reference book I go back to from time to time. I will hide it though ¿ I don't want the people in my life to think that I may be trying to seduce them ¿ especially because I might be!
