• A landmark publication in European poetry• The anthology will be promoted Europe-wide to all participating Versopolis festivals• The editor, Patrick McGuinness, has already secured launch readings (in Birmingham, Oxford, Sheffield and Cardiff) when the situation permits.This anthology of poetry written in over two dozen languages is the culmination of the first phase of the Versopolis project, an online journal of European poetry and a series of interlinked poetry festivals ranging across Europe from Ledbury to Lviv, curated by the Slovenian publisher Beletrina. Containing selections of the work of 60 poets (ranging in age from their early 20s to their mid-50s) of the 180 who have contributed to the project over the past 3 years, the anthology focuses on language and culture rather than nation, with poetry in a multitude of forms and styles on every conceivable subject. This is an exciting and unique poetry experience.
