Angela McRobbie is a Fellow of the British Academy and Emeritus Professor in the Department of Media, Communications and Cultural Studiesat Goldsmiths University of London. She has also been awarded an Honorary DPhil from Glasgow University. Her field of expertise traverses gender, media and popular culture, feminist theory and the critique of neoliberalism, creative economy and the fashion industry.
