His research covers topics in quality management, innovation management and industrial systems. Asbjørn Rolstadås is professor emeritus of mechanical and industrial engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Engineering. His research covers topics like computer-aided production planning and control systems and project management methodsand systems. He is the founding editor of the journal Production Planning and Control (Taylor & Francis).
