Andrew Monk is professor of psychology at York University. His current research is in all areas of technology for the home. He has a long history in usability research, particularly lightweight methods for use by designers and videoconferencing. He is director of the Center for Usable Home Technology (CUHTec) and a fellow of the British Computer Society.
