She has published widely on spatial governance, smart cities, and sustainable development, and her research contributes to advancing integrated approaches to sustainable spatial and urban management.Zhenjiang Shen is a Specially Appointed Professor at Kanazawa University, Japan, and Director of the International Joint Laboratory of Smart Habitat for Humanity at Fuzhou University, China. He is a Member of the Engineering Academy of Japan. His research focuses on national spatial planning systems, land use regulation, and sustainable urban development. His work emphasizes spatial governance, planning institutions, and international comparative studies of land use policy and planning systems. He has published extensively in the fields of urban planning, spatial management, and sustainable development, contributing significantly to the study of planning systems and spatial governance.
