Tankiso Moloi is the Executive Dean of the College of Business and Economics, University of Johannesburg. He was previously a Professor and Academic Director at the Johannesburg Business School, University of Johannesburg. Before the University of Johannesburg, he was a Director of Enterprise Risk Management, and a Professor of Financial Governance at the University of South Africa and spent almost a decade as a Chief Accountant at Anglo American (Kumba Iron Ore). Tankiso is an NRF-rated researcher and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed accredited scientific journals, chaired, and participated in various conferences as a keynote speaker and presenter. He has authored and co-authored eight books and book chapters in the areas of accounting, risk management, strategy, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. He has won awards such as the CGMA Africa Leadership Award: Notable Academic, CIMA Global Academic Champion, Global Distinguished Contribution in the CIMA Research Excellence Awards, the inaugural Chair in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) by the ETDP-SETA, Distinguished Vice Chancellor’s Prize: Emerging Researcher of the Year, the 2018 Institute of Risk Management South Africa Industry Awards (Education category). Varaidzo Denhere graduated in 2019 with a PhD in Auditing, and worked at Bindura University of Science Education as a Quality Assurance Auditor until 2020. Now she is doing her third year postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
