Singapore, the Virtuous Island

Singapore is a country that non-Asians do not know much about except its name. No one will be able to accurately place his finger on its location until he spends some time searching for it somewhere among tens of thousands of fragmented islands in the middle of the Malay Archipelago.But size is not everything, but sometimes it is nothing. Within this small size, the writer found, through actual experience, an experience that is without a doubt one of the most brilliant and impressive experiences of the twentieth century, an experience that confirms that man, and not anything else, is the one who creates progress or its opposite, builds prosperity or against it, and comforts himself and generations of his children and grandchildren or bequeaths them problems and adversities.That wonderful experience is the focus of this book, which attempts to convey to the Arabic reader some of what is happening on the other side of the Indian Ocean, including events that the present remembers with respect.
