This novel is considered one of the first literary attempts by the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky. He began working on it in 1849 but did not complete it, leaving pages containing his first fingerprints and ideas that would later develop in his major works. It embodies the features of the Russian village in the nineteenth century, where ancient rural traditions blend with the winds of change that began to blow on society.Through multiple characters, the writer reviews the struggle of the simple peasant searching for his identity in light of major social and economic transformations, and the feudal landlords who sank into failure and corruption. It also highlights the character of the intellectual coming from the city, who finds himself observing a life that seems familiar but at its core is full of contradictions. The atmosphere of the novel is characterized by gloom and anxiety, as Dostoyevsky reflects with critical skill how the village, which appears calm on the outside, hides unrelenting conflicts between the old and the new, and between the power and the weak. Although the work remains unfinished, it reveals Dostoevsky''s first attempts to form his unique style based on multiple voices and deep psychological narrative, serving as an early introduction to the great literary visions that he would later present in his immortal novels.

Arab-Iranian relations encompass complex historical and contemporary pages, intertwined with multiple interests and ongoing political tensions. Since pre-Islamic times, there has been a geographic and cultural rivalry between the two sides. However, matters took on a more complex character with the rise of the Safavid dynasty, which added a new religious dimension to the conflict, charting a long path of tensions between Iran and the Arab world. These conflicts escalated with Iranian control over some Arab territories, most notably the occupation of the Ahvaz region and the UAE islands, which provoked Arab resentment and widened the trust gap between the neighbors. With the Iranian Revolution in 1979, Tehran added further dimensions to the conflict, seeking to export its revolution and expand its influence in the region. This led to deep wars and crises, such as the Iran-Iraq War, which shattered the fortunes of both countries. But can this complex past be overcome? This seems possible if there is a shared will, free from Western interference. Relations based on dialogue and partnership can achieve significant economic benefits for both sides, as figures on the volume of trade between Iran and the Gulf states demonstrate.

The jurist and writer Ibn Hazm was not unaware of what was going on in his society, and he was aware of the spread of negative social phenomena in this society, so he decided to confront them with several writings, and committed himself to being an educator, and he wrote several letters in this field, including his most famous book, "The Dove''s Ring in Intimacy and Thousands." He knew that this society, with all its faults and shortcomings, would not accept a book by a jurist about love. Ibn Hazm expressed this in more than one place in the book, perhaps the clearest of which was his saying: "And I know that some fanatics will denounce me for writing something like this. Thus, for a thousand years, the conservative jurist has not been ashamed to discuss such a thorny topic in a single book, over the length of thirty chapters, detailing without embarrassment love, starting with its essence and signs, and elaborating on its chapters and detailing all the chapters of love, including abandonment and attachment, consolation and loyalty. He also cites real stories, including stories of his own. The book combines love and biography, by approaching the emotional side of the jurist''s life and the emotional lives of a number of his contemporaries.

"Stages on Life''s Way" is a philosophical-literary book that concisely describes three spheres of existence: the aesthetic, the ethical, and the religious. According to Søren Kierkegaard, each stage or sphere represents a different existential way or attitude toward life, with its own values, tendencies, and choices. The ultimate goal is personal authenticity and spiritual perfection, represented by the religious sphere, where a balance is achieved between the finite and the infinite, the temporal-mundane and the eternal. These are not separate choices or stages, nor do they occur sequentially; rather, they are intertwined and complementary, and a person can experience all of them simultaneously. Kierkegaard also points out that not everyone will reach the religious stage, and that some individuals may find satisfaction and meaning in life in the aesthetic or ethical stage alone. According to Hilary''s introduction, the book (Stages) is a bundle of papers that he claims to have found among the books sent to him by a writer for binding. These papers remained with him, which he forgot to return to the writer''s heirs after his death, until he discovered them by chance years later. He collected them, bound them, and undertook to publish them, although he is not a publisher but a bookbinder. The book consists of three main parts: (In Wine "Remains" the Truth), followed by: (Some Reflections on Marriage in Response to Objections from a Married Man), and finally: (Guilty? - Not Guilty?) A Story of Suffering, which summarizes Kierkegaard''s personal experience, and includes a large part of his diaries that he recorded in his papers under the title (My Relationship with Her). The book then concludes with a letter to a reader from Taciturnus about the three existential stages contained in the book.

It is true of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "I fear what I fear for my nation the misleading imams." The Messenger of God believed that the poison that the knowledge of knowledge is improvised, and convinced of the mask of preaching, armed with the arts of rhetoric and inserted speech, is more severe on society than the poison caused by the lies of priests, the falsehood of forced labor and astrologers.

The book "Glimpses of World History" was written in English by the great Indian leader Jawaharlal Nehru when he was imprisoned because of his struggle for the freedom and independence of his country. The book is in the form of letters addressed by Nehru to his daughter, "Indira." The number of these letters is 196 letters, and their pages are about a thousand pages. It took about three years to write: from October 1930 to August 1933. The credit for the appearance of these letters goes to his sister, "Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit." Ghada Al-Samman published this book after the death of Ghassan Kanafani, which contained his letters and poems to her, and on its cover was a picture of them. Some critics believe that she published it out of arrogance, and they see Others say that she published it based on a covenant and promise between them to publish these letters to the light, and she says that she published it because of the wonderful literature and style it contains, written by the brilliant writer Ghassan Kanafani. This book explores the topic of time as a cultural element; that is, how do different cultures express and use time, consciously or unconsciously? Because time is one of the fundamental structures of culture, culture plays a crucial role in understanding time as a cultural structure. The Dance of Life joins a group of books that have explored human beings, culture, and behavior. It examines the most intimate experiences: how do individuals relate to one another despite being isolated by invisible rhythms and invisible walls of time? We examine time as a language, a principle that organizes any activity, as a factor of composition and integration, a means of setting priorities and organizing the material that gives us experience; as a control mechanism that reflects the course of events; as a criterion for judging competence, effort, and success; and finally, as a system of private messages that reveal how individuals perceive themselves, indicating whether they are capable of agreement among themselves. One of the purposes of this book is to consider how living organisms live in a single communicative world.

Since the dawn of history, man has been in urgent need of a system of values and ideals, which prompted him to re-examine more precisely his biological center, and the fact remains, as the gap between man and animal widens once again. After Darwin''s theory, man could no longer avoid considering himself an animal, but he began to see himself as a very strange animal, and in many cases unparalleled. The analysis of human uniqueness from a biological standpoint is still incomplete.Man''s opinion regarding his position in relation to the rest of the animals has fluctuated between his great or little admiration for himself, separated from the animals at times by a very deep gulf, and at other times by a very small gulf. It is of course possible to reduce or enlarge the gap, either on the animal side or on the human side. A person can - as Descartes did - depict animals as machines - or - as most naive people do - that is, give them many human characteristics, or a person can work on the human side of the abyss, and then he either strips his human race of its characteristics, and enters it into... He is compared to animals, or he is elevated to such an extent that he is slightly lower than angels.
