The articles of this volume reconstruct from perspectives of the history of religion, ecumenism, sociology, and homiletics important interpretations of Luther and the Reformation in view of their respective epistemological hermeneutics. In this way, the volume contributes to the current understanding of the Reformation and Lutheran theology.
