Ist Religion ein Ausdruck fur die spatmoderne Sehnsucht nach Eindeutigkeit oder eroffnet sie Raume der Toleranz von Mehrdeutigkeit und Vielfalt?Der interdisziplinare Sammelband untersucht Religion als ambiges Phanomen an der Schnittstelle von Theologie, Kultur- und Sozialwissenschaften. Jenseits gangiger Zuschreibungen etwa als Indikator wachsender Ambiguitatstoleranz oder autoritarer Vereindeutigung wird Religion selbst als ein aktiver Ort der Produktion, Reflexion und Bearbeitung von Ambiguitat verstanden.
