In May 2011 the Confederation of German-Speaking Psychotherapists of Psychosis (DDPP) was founded. This affiliation of psychiatrists, neurologists and psychotherapists is dedicated to the psychotherapeutic treatment of persons suffering from psychosis. It is open to anyone working in this area who has been psychotherapeutically qualified, including psychodynamic, behavioural, family-oriented and systemic forms of therapy. It is hoped that the interdisciplinary exchange of information among the various schools of psychotherapy will lead to a better understanding of the complex treatment of psychosis. Leading representatives of psychodynamics, cognitive behavioural therapy, neurobiology and trialogue contributed to laying out the present state of the art and the resulting consequences for treating persons afflicted by this illness.

Sie ist Studiengangsleiterin und Professorin an der IPU Berlin in dem Studiengang âIntegrierte Versorgung psychotisch erkrankter Menschenâ, OberÃ¤rztin in der Klinik fÃ"r Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, Campus CharitÃ©, UniversitÃ¤tsmedizin Berlin, und als Psychotherapeutin in eigener Praxis tÃ¤tig. Sie ist GrÃ"nderin des Dachverbands Deutschsprachiger PsychosenPsychotherapie (DDPP), dem sie als Vorstandsvorsitzende und GeschÃ¤ftsfÃ"hrerin vorsteht. Prof. Dr. med. Stavros Mentzos (1930â2015) war Psychiater und Psychoanalytiker und Leiter der Abteilung fÃ"r Psychotherapie und Psychosomatik des Klinikums der UniversitÃ¤t Frankfurt/Main. Dr. phil. Thomas Bock, Jahrgang 1954, ist Professor fÃ"r Klinische Psychologie und Sozialpsychiatrie, Psychologischer Psychotherapeut und Leiter der Psychosenambulanz der UniversitÃ¤tsklinik Hamburg-Eppendorf. Er ist MitbegrÃ"nder der Psychoseseminare und Mitglied verschiedener bundesweiter Gremien zur Psychosenbehandlung. Prof. Dr. phil. Dr. med. Andreas Heinz ist Professor fÃ"r Psychiatrie und Direktor der Klinik fÃ"r Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, CharitÃ© UniversitÃ¤tsmedizin Berlin. Er ist Vorstandsmitglied der European Psychiatric Association, stellvertretender Vorsitzender der Aktion Psychisch Kranke e.V. (APK) und Vorstandsmitglied der Deutschen Gesellschaft fÃ"r Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Nervenheilkunde (DGPPN) fÃ"r UniversitÃ¤re Psychiatrie.
