Imaging and Computing in Gastroenterology

This volume deals with recent progress in the research and development of endoscopic, radiologic, echographic and radio-isotopic imaging and their clinical applications, both diagnostic and therapeutic, in gastroenterology. The contributions on recent research in computing in gastroenterology range from imaging techniques, to the organization of a hospital department, to the use of computers in clinical decision-making. The utility of computer applications, both for organizational problems and as a means for facilitating data processing and clinical diagnosis, is clearly shown.
