This book presents selected papers from an internationalworkshop devoted tothe theory, techniques and tools ofdecision analysis and support. Major trends in thedevelopment of this field are stressed, such as the tendencyto place the final user of a decision support system in thecenter of attention, or an emerging connection between toolsand software environments for modeling and for decisionsupport. The volume is acontinuation of the reports onearlier meetings which were published in the same series.
