Silvia Florea is Professor in the Department of Anglo-American and German Studiesof the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Romania. Her main interests include theoriesof contemporary linguistics, intercultural communication, translation studies,discourse analysis, and ethics of scientific research.Eric Gilder is Professor of Communication and Development Studies at the PapuaNew Guinea University of Technology in Lae, and a doctoral supervisor at the“Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Romania. His main interests are in internationalmedia, adult education, intercultural communication, and communication fordevelopment.Diana Florea is Lecturer of Information Management in the Department ofRomance Studies of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Romania. Her currentresearch interests are in the cultural histories of reading, cultural and knowledgemanagement, and information theories.Roxana Grunwald is Lecturer of Discourse Typology in the Department ofAnglo-American and German Studies of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu,Romania. Her main interests are in the fields of translation studies, discourse representationsand typologies, and multilingual terminology.
