It also highlights the enormous compensation costs with the courts’ experiences in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

Rita Yi Man Li is a lecturer in Department of Economics and Finance, Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Prior joining Shue Yan, she taught in Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Hong Kong. In recent four years, she has published more than 50 articles and received numerous awards/grants. She is also a member of the editorial board of many international refereed journals and a program committee member of international academic conferences.
