Since the introduction of laser technology into medicine, quite a number of clinical applications in orthopaedics have been developed. This text is the first to provide comprehensive guidelines and how-to-do instructions for the application of lasers in orthopaedics. These cover patient selection and decision-making as well as the benefits and risks of the clinical application of lasers in arthroscopic surgery, spine surgery and open surgery.
