Beskrivning
For a long time, the large market hall Großmarkthalle (1928) by Martin Elsaesser stood emblematically for the New Frankfurt. Now, with a comprehensive and richly illustrated monograph, the architecture historian and Elsaesser researcher Jörg Schilling presents the story of the exceptionally productive and versatile building artist who was marginalised by the Nazi regimen.Text in English and German.
