Joan Mueller, Ph.D., Duquesne University, is Professor of Systemic Theology and Christian Spirituality at Creighton University. She has published numerous books on Clare of Assisi and Francis of Assisi as well as works on prayer and on women and theology.Nancy B. Warren, Ph.D. (1997), Indiana University, is Professor of English at Texas A&M University. She has published three monographs on medieval and early modern female spirituality and numerous articles on later medieval literature and culture.
