Gloria Maité Hernández offers an engaging critical review of scholarly works on Spanish mystical literature during the twentieth and early twenty-first century in Europe and the Americas. Gloria Maité Hernández (Ph.D. 2011, Emory University) is an Associate Professor of Spanish at West Chester University, USA. Hernández has published books and articles in Spanish and English, including Savoring God, Comparative Theopoetics (Oxford University Press, 2021).
