My brother in my heart (miscarriage and grief)

Erik is six years old and Joel nearly two. The family is soon expecting a baby. In the evenings Erik puts his hand om mummy’s tummy while she reads him a bed-time story. He can feel the baby wriggling like a fish in there. 

   One day mum must go to the hospital. When mum and dad come home, they tell Erik that his baby brother stopped moving and that he died. How can someone be dead before he is born? 

   Erik doesn´t want to start school. He doesn’t even want to play with his favourite cousin, Sofie. Most of all he just wants to cry, but then he might make mum sad. Maybe it’s better if he gets angry. But that doesn’t help either.
