    Ravindra Kumar has completed Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from C. V. Sc. & A.H. Mathura with Vice-chancellor University silver medal. He has obtained his M. V. Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Animal Nutrition from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar. He was recipient of ICAR (JRF) and IVRI (SRF) during his Master and PhD program respectively. Dr. Kumar has significantly contributed on ruminant nutrition, methane mitigation, unconventional feed utilization, rumen microbiology, complete pellet development, Sulfur hexafluoride technique of methane estimation in goats and rumen microbial culture. During his professional carrier he proved himself as excellent teacher and researcher. He has guided four M.V. Sc. and two Ph. D. students who are well placed. He has handled about twenty two research projects of national interest funded from Department of Biotechnology, Indian council of Agriculture Research, Department of Science and Technology, National Livestock Mission, NABARD etc. He was awarded with International Endeavour Award by Department of Education and Training, Government of Australia. He was on Foreign Deputation at CSIRO, Agriculture and Food, Brisbane, Queensland. He is also recipient of ANA Fellow award, ANA-U.B. Singh Memorial Young Scientist Award 2016, Outstanding achievement award, Best presentation award, ICAR-CIRG appreciation award. He has edited book/proceedings/newsletters and published around seventy research articles in peer reviewed journals of International/ National repute along with many book chapters and technical articles. He has developed many specialized complete pellet feed, commercialized one technology, two patents and standardized SF6 technique of methane emission in goats. He is life member of many national scientific societies like Animal Nutrition Association, Animal Nutrition society of India, Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Research and ISSGPU. He is also the scientific reviewer and editorial Board member of many international like SRR, TAH&P and national scientific Journals.Dr. Anupam Krishna Dixit, currently working as Principal Scientist at the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Goats, Makhdoom, Mathura. He obtained his MSc in Livestock Economics from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) and PhD from Institute for Agricultural Sciences (IASc), Banaras Hindu University - BHU. His research interests include Livestock Planning and Development, Environment and Livestock, Agricultural Marketing, Agribusiness Management, and Impact Assessment. Dr. Dixit has published more than 50 research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals, 4 books, and a discussion paper on International Development Strategies. He has been awarded with Dr. RT Doshi Foundation Award by the Agricultural Economics Research Association, recipient of Best Extension Professional Award from Society of Extension Education. He has been associated with the international project on Environment and Poverty in Urban Informal Sector FASID, Tokyo, Japan and Goat Value Chain project with International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Nairobi, Kenya currently, engaged with Department of Science and Technology (DST) project on goat based technological and livelihood improvement in Uttarakhand state and handling NABARD funded project. He has more than 15 years of research experience and worked with Centre for Management in Agriculture (CMA), IIM, Ahmedabad, CESR -NCAP, New Delhi and Sectoral Analysis and Studies Group (SAS), National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Anand, Gujarat. Dr Manish Kumar Chatli has completed his graduation from CCS Haryana Agricultural University and subsequently M VSc in Animal Products Technology, HAU Hisar. Thereafter, he moved to Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar for his PhD in Livestock Products Technology. He has gone advance training in proteomics from University of Kentucky, USA. He started his career as Assistant Professor, Department of Livestock Products Technology at CSK HPKV, Palampur. Thereafter, he has been selected as Associate Professor, LPT at PAU/GADVASU. He was promoted to Professor position in 2009 and Head of the department in 2012. He has served HOD, LPT for more than 8 years and HOD, LPM for more than 6 months. He also served as Dean, Ramphura phul, GADVASU, Ludhiana for more than 2 years. He has successfully handled 27 projects from different funding agencies viz. DST, DBT, MoFPI, ICAR, RKVY, PLDB, NLM etc. He has guided 11 M.V.Sc and 5 PhD students and his 15 PG students received International/National level scholarships/awards/travel grants etc. He has transferred 19 technologies to entrepreneurs. He has established Poultry Processing Plant as Revenue generation Model under Public Private Partnership Mode. He has attended 8 advance trainings/international seminars/workshops in USA, Republic of South Korea, Belgium etc. He has successfully organized 51 trainings, 10 workshop/symposia including International Conference and workshop, ICAR winter course, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, Model Training Courses, and Industry-Academia-Farmer Interface etc. He has published 2 patents, 8 books, 20 book chapters, 40 manuals/compendiums/research reports and more than 160 research publications in the journal of international & national repute.
