This guidebook has been edited and rewritten, maintaining the basic structure of the earlier versions which have been prepared by various stalwarts of vaccinology from all over India. These guidelines have been prepared based on information from medical literature, local epidemiological data and are essentially aimed at uniform and appropriate vaccination practice amongst members of The Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).
