Opening Boundaries: Toward Finnish HeterolinationalLiteratures is a part of our project, entitled "Toward a MoreInclusive and Comprehensive Finnish Literature," conductedat the Finnish Literature Society (SKS) and the University ofTampere during 2018-2019. This cross-cultural collection oftexts demonstrates the emergence and growth of newheterogeneous, multicultural and multilingual literatureswithin the Finnish literary canon. The anthology includessome literary outputs by twenty-four immigrant authors,living in Finland from sixteen different nationalities, andtheir works in ten different languages make this collectionmultilingual. However, for the sake of readability, thetranslation of some of their works in Finnish or English hasbeen offered.
