He also is a Professor of the University of Hong Kong, a Research Fellow of the CESifo (which includes the Centre for Economic Studies, the Ifo Institute for Economic Research, and the Munich Society for the Promotion of Economic Research) in Germany, and a Guest Professor of Shandong University, China. Cheung is listed among the Top 1000 Economists.
