Al-Ghazali

Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali embodied the state of intellectual and philosophical conflict that defined the Abbasid era — a period marked by the flourishing of translation and knowledge transfer, and the rise of theologians and philosophers alike. Al-Ghazali delved deeply into various sciences and philosophies, walking the diverse paths of intellectual schools, until he reached a stage of complete doubt in everything.
