Umm Saad

Umm Saad is not merely a fictional character; she is a living symbol of the resilience of the Palestinian woman, who gives birth to fighters just as she sows the land.In this novel, Ghassan Kanafani gives voice to the mothers who carried Palestine in their hearts and on their shoulders—makers of hope amid the ashes of loss.
