Dr. Qiliang Cai is a professor and assistant director of the Key Laboratory of Medical Molecular Virology affiliated to Ministry of Education & Ministry of Health, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Fudan University. He is vice chairman of the young scholar branch of Chinese Society for Virology, and serves as the associate editor for Oncology Communications and academic editors for the international journals PLoS One, and Cancer Cell and Microenvironment. His research focuses on the mechanisms of oncogenic herpesvirus-induced tumorigenesis related to microenvironmental hypoxia stress and its potential therapeutic treatment.
