Dr Kim Vaiphei, Professor, has been working in the Department of Histopathology, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India since 1990 as a faculty member. She has done MBBS from Calcutta University and MD in Pathology from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Dr Vaiphei has worked in London Cancer Centre as a short term of WHO. She is also Fellows of International Union against Cancer (UICC- WHO), National Academy of Medical Sciences India, and Indian College of Pathology. She has been working at various capacities in histopathology department at PGIMER and has been working as a Professor since 2006. Her field of specialization and interest for research has been gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary pathology. Dr Vaiphei has also completed many intramural as well as extramural research projects. She has received many awards including Dr R N Kasliwal Award by National Academy of Medical Sciences. She has attended many national and international conferences and has more than 300 publications to her credit.
