His research interests include Nanoscience and Nanotechnology including Plasmonics and Semiconductors. Dr. Hilmi Volkan Demir is a professor of electrical engineering and physics. He is an NRF Fellow of Singapore and NANYANG Associate Professor at NTU Singapore, and serves as the Founding Director of LUMINOUS! Center of Excellence for Semiconductor Lighting and Displays.
