Serhii Shafraniuk has spent 45 years working in the areas of condensed matter physics, quantum electronics, and thermal and electric transport. Besides graphene, his research interests encompass other low-dimensional materials, superconductors, and heavy fermion systems with potential applications in quantum computing, thermal transport, and the detection and generation of terahertz and infrared waves.
