Antenna Integration

This book investigates the emerging concept of antenna integration, which has become an important research direction in modern antenna engineering and highly integrated wireless systems. With the rapid development of mobile terminals, millimeter-wave/terahertz systems, and intelligent electronic platforms, antennas are required to support increasing functions within increasingly limited spaces. Unlike electronic components, antennas are inherently electromagnetic-size-dependent devices, making high-level integration a long-standing challenge. Antenna integration provides a new approach by enabling coordinated design of antennas with other antennas and functional modules through spatial sharing and electromagnetic functional fusion. This book introduces the fundamental theories, design methodologies, and practical implementations of antenna integration, covering antenna-antenna integration, antenna-feed integration, antenna-silicon integration, antenna-dissipation integration, and other emerging integration approaches.
