Recensioner i media

“In this revised masterpiece of monastic prayer for many different types of users, Maxwell Johnson has responded in a creative and thoughtful manner to many suggestions for making the volume easier to use. That means that there are now seven ribbons; there is some repetition of texts so that a more linear flow is possible, with less searching and locating texts. There has also been an effort to increase the diversity of non-scriptural readings. This revised edition is faithful to authoritative guidelines within both the Benedictine and the Roman Catholic traditions. Finally, there is a very helpful Aid to Praying Benedictine Daily Prayer which will prove essential to a beginner and helpful to more experienced pray-ers of the Divine Office.”Fr. John Klassen, OSB, Saint John’s Abbey
