Das Management des Währungsrisikos stellt unter den Bedingungen der deutschen Volkswirt­ schaft, unter denen nicht wenige Unternehmen zwischen 50% und 80% ihres Umsatzes in Drittwährungen tätigen, ein besonders drängendes Problem dar, zumal die Volatilität der Wechselkurse eher zu-als abzunehmen scheint. Auch die Einführung des Euro wird an dieser Problematik nichts ändern, da viele wichtige Währungen weiterhin frei schwanken werden. Gleichzeitig und zum Teil als Reaktion auf das daraus resultierende Absicherungsbedürfnis der Unternehmen steigt das Marktvolumen derivativer fustrumente stark an. Während sich eine Fülle von Arbeiten mit den Einsatzmöglichkeiten dieser fustrumente zur Steuerung des Währungsrisikos befaßt, gibt es nur eine schmale entscheidungstheoretische Literatur zum optimalen Einsatz der fustrumente, die darüber hinaus die neueren fustrumente nicht mitein­ bezieht Vor diesem Hintergrund nimmt sich die Arbeit von Herrn Dr. Michael Pfennig einer unge­ wöhnlich komplexen und anspruchsvollen Problemstellung an und verfolgt dabei mehrere Teilziele. Erstens wird die grundsätzliche Eignung derivativer fustrumente zur Steuerung des Währungsrisikos in Unternehmen eruiert, zweitens werden Aussagen über die Risikoein­ stellung von Unternehmen hinsichtlich des Währungsrisikos auf einem unvollkommenen Kapitalmarkt abgeleitet und drittens erfolgt eine Analyse des optimalen Einsatzes derivativer fustrumente vor dem Hintergrund der zuvor abgeleiteten Risikoeinstellung. Die Analyse besticht durch eine eigenständige Vorgehensweise auf hohem fachlichen Niveau. Von der Vielzahl methodischer Anregungen und neuartiger Erkenntnisse seien an dieser Stelle nur einige erwähnt: Zunächst erscheint mir die Systematisierung der Komponenten desWährungsrisikos und die erste grundsätzliche Eignungsabschätzung derivativer fustrumente zur Steuerung der einzelnen Komponenten äußerst gelungen.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2024 im Fachbereich Geschichte Europas - Mittelalter, Fruhe Neuzeit, Note: 1,0, Albert-Ludwigs-Universitat Freiburg (Historisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Proseminar, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In einem ersten Schritt sollen die Grundlagen des Themas gelegt werden, indem die fur die Genese der Reichsritterschaft bis zum Jahr 1542 essentiellen Faktoren, insbesondere jene, welche die Annaherung an den Kaiser bedingten, dargestellt werden. Hierauf folgend, wird der Anspruch der Reichsritterschaft auf Steuerfreiheit, dessen Ursachen und Effektivitat sowie die Reaktion von Konig und Reichsstanden auf diesen betreffend, ergrundet. In einem letzten Schritt wird die Bewilligung und Durchfuhrung des Gemeinen Pfennigs der Reichsritterschaften, vor dem Hintergrund ihrer Verpflichtung gegenuber dem Reichsoberhaupt, untersucht. In einem Fazit wird diese Arbeit zu dem Ergebnis kommen, dass aufgrund der erforderlichen Zugestandnisse, welche die Reichsritter im Rahmen der Verhandlungen um die Bewilligung des Gemeinen Pfennigs erwirkten, nicht von bedingungsloser Subordination, sondern von einvernehmlicher Kooperation ausgegangen werden kann beziehungsweise muss. Im Jahr 1542 wurde das Heilige Romische Reich mit einer akuten politischen Krise in Form der Osmanen konfrontiert. Aufgrund der ,,bedrohlichen Turkengefahr wurde auf dem im selben Jahr zu Speyer abgehaltenen Reichstag eine ,,beharrliche Turkenhilfe zur finanziellen und militarischen Unterstutzung des Reiches beschlossen. Konig Ferdinand, der, in Abwesenheit Kaiser Karls V., die Regierung des Reiches ausfuhrte, so auch die Turkenabwehr zu organisieren hatte, war um effektive Mitwirkung der Reichsstande bemuht. Daher sollte auch der reichsunmittelbare Ritter- und Niederadel, dessen Angehorige sich zuvor, unter Berufung auf ihre traditionelle Steuerfreiheit, finanziellen Einbindungen in das Reich entziehen konnten, zu dieser allgemeinen Reichssteuer verpflichtet werden. Die Aufbringung, Entrichtung und Verwaltung der von der Ritterschaft bewilligten Steuergelder machte eine ritterschaftliche Organisation erforderlich, welche die verfassungspolitische Institutionalisierung der Reichsritterschaft zur Folge hatte und somit als Beginn der fruhneuzeitlichen Reichsritterschaft gilt.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2025 im Fachbereich Geschichte - Europa, Note: 1,3, , Veranstaltung: Seminar Neuste Geschichte, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit befasst sich mit den Auseinandersetzungen um die Steuerhebung in Form des Gemeinen Pfennig"e; auf dem Reichstag von Speyer 1544 und ruckt dabei die Rolle der Kurfursten von Trier, Pfalz und Sachsen in den Mittelpunkt. Im Fokus steht die Frage, welche Interessen hinter ihrer ablehnenden Haltung gegenuber der geplanten Reichssteuer standen. Ausgehend von einem zeitgenossischen Gutachten werden die Argumente der Kurfursten Schritt fur Schritt analysiert und in den politischen Zusammenhang des Heiligen Romischen Reiches eingeordnet. Dabei wird deutlich, dass es nicht nur um praktische Probleme oder finanzielle Belastungen ging, sondern vor allem um die Sicherung eigener Rechte, Einflussbereiche und Privilegien. Die Arbeit stellt heraus, wie eng Steuerfragen und Machtpolitik im 16. Jahrhundert miteinander verknupft waren, und beleuchtet die politischen Spannungen zwischen Kaiser und Reichsstanden.

Neben grundlegenden Gleichungen, die das Grundgerüst der Thermodynamik bilden, werden als Materialgleichungen sowohl Zustandsgleichungen als auch GE-Modelle vorgestellt und die Gemisch-Thermodynamik schrittweise und konsequent hergeleitet. Den Modellen werden Experiment und reales Stoffverhalten gegenübergestellt. Kapitel zu Messmethoden, Stoffverhalten, Phasengrenzen und chemischen Reaktionen runden das Werk ab. Das Buch wendet sich an Studenten der Verfahrenstechnik und Physikalischen Chemie ebenso wie an Verfahrens- und andere Ingenieure, die ein solides thermodynamisches Rüstzeug für die Charakterisierung von Gemischen benötigen. Durch den konsequenten Aufbau eignet sich das Buch auch zum Selbststudium. Beispielhafte Aufgaben mit skizzierten Lösungen im Anhang unterstützen das Erarbeiten des Stoffs.
