These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 15th European Conference on Management Leadership and Governance (ECMLG 2019), hosted by Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Porto Accounting and Business School, Portugal on 14-15 November 2019. The Conference Chair is Prof. Anabela Mesquita and the Programme Chair is Prof. Paulino Silva, all from Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal.

ECMLG is a well-established event on the academic research calendar and now, in its 15th year, the key aim remains the opportunity for participants to share ideas and meet the people who hold them. The scope of papers will ensure an interesting two days. The subjects covered illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and ever-growing area of research.

The opening keynote presentation is given by Luis Borges Gouveia, from the Universidade Fernando Pessoa, on the topic of Emerging Alternatives to Leadership and Governance in a Digital Ecosystem. Then, an afternoon keynote will be given by Manuel Perez Cota, University of Vigo, Spain, on the subject The Changing Role of Industry Knowledge for Global Businesses. The second day of the conference will open with an address by Isabel Ramos, University of Minho, Portugal, who will talk about Collective Attention to Digital Transformation: how Smart Organizations use IT.

With an initial submission of 136 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 48 Academic research papers, 6 PhD research papers, 1 Masters Research paper, 1 non-academic paper and 6 work-in-progress papers published in these Conference Proceedings. These papers represent research from Australia, Brazil, Check Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, UAE, and UK.

This book from the LNNS Series is composed of the best selected papers accepted for presentation and discussion at the 2024 International Conference in Information Technology & Education (ICITED’24). The ICITED is a multidisciplinary conference with a special focus on new Technologies and Systems in the Education sector and was held between July 11 and 13, 2024. The ICITED’24 was supported by the Pernambuco University, Recife, Brazil, and by IADITI—International Association for Digital Transformation and Technological Innovation.

The International Conference in Information Technology & Education is an international forum for researchers and professionals in the education sector, which enables the discussion of the latest innovations, trends, and concerns in several areas, in the education sector, associated with information technologies and systems. The ICITED’24 Scientific Committee is composed of a multidisciplinary group of 143 experts who assessed some 262 papers from 26 countries, received for each of the main topics proposed for the conference.

The papers accepted for presentation and discussion at the conference are published by Springer and will be submitted for indexing by ISI, SCOPUS, EI-Compendex, Google Scholar, and SpringerLink.

This book presents high-quality, peer-reviewed papers from the International Conference in Information Technology & Education (ICITED 2022), to be held at the ESPM – Higher School of Advertising and Marketing, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between July 14 – 16,  2022. This book covers a specific field of knowledge. This intends to cover not only two fields of knowledge – Education and Technology – but also the interaction among them and the impact/result in the job market and organizations. It covers the research and pedagogic component of Education and Information Technologies and also the connection with Society, addressing the three pillars of higher education.
