Welche Rolle spielt die Theologie und Religionspädagogik in der und für die Öffentlichkeit? Öffentliche Theologie und Öffentliche Religionspädagogik fokussieren auf Gesellschaft und Gemeinwohl. Eine Herausforderung besteht hierbei in der Übersetzung der Prämissen, Inhalte und Anliegen zwischen Theologie wie Religionspädagogik und der Gesellschaft. In der vorliegenden Festschrift für Prof. Dr. Manfred L. Pirner werden deshalb Begriff und Aufgabe der Übersetzung kritisch und mehrperspektivisch reflektiert: Evangelische, katholische, muslimische und jüdische Perspektiven tragen ebenso zur Erhellung des Übersetzungskonzeptes und damit der Öffentlichkeitsfunktion von Theologie und Religionspädagogik bei wie intra-, interdisziplinäre und internationale.

Evangelische Theologie kann Impulse für wirtschaftliches Handeln geben. Andrea Roth zeigt dies eindrucksvoll am Beispiel prekärer Ausbildungsbedingungen in der Hotel- und Gastronomiebranche. Sie entwickelt wirtschaftsethische Handlungsperspektiven, die verdeutlichen: "Menschlichkeit" ist eine Option, die sich gut mit ökonomischer Rationalität vereinbaren lässt. Den Rahmen bildet dabei der Ansatz der "Öffentlichen Theologie", dessen Anliegen es ist, christliche Perspektiven so in die aktuelle Weltwirklichkeit einzubringen, dass sie zur Förderung des Gemeinwohls beitragen. Am gewählten Beispiel führt dies insbesondere zur Anregung von Bildungsprozessen, die Menschen dazu befähigen, ökonomische Problemstellungen aus theologisch-ethischer Perspektive zu analysieren und zu beurteilen.[Philanthropy as an Option. She opens up economic-ethical perspectives demonstrating that it is possible for philanthropy to be made compatible with economic rationality.The framework for this conviction is provided by a ''public theology'' approach which is concerned with importing Christian perspectives into current global reality in such a way as to contribute to the promotion of common welfare. On the basis of the cited example, this leads to a proposal in favour of educational processes which enable people to analyse and judge economic problems from theological-ethical perspectives.

Seminar paper from the year 2017 in the subject Communications - Intercultural Communication, grade: 1,3, University of Wurzburg, language: English, abstract: The purpose of this term paper is to analyse the challenges and opportunities of bi-/multilingual families. Couples with two different nationalities and some, who have the same origin but immigrated into another country on the one hand, and children who have parents of different origins and therefore raised bi- or multilingual on the other, are to be analysed with regard to their mother tongue, language choice within and outside the family as well as their identity. Moreover, the phenomenon of code switching and its reasons as well as the use of language among siblings and between parents and their children will be examined. The last point of analysis shows the advantages and disadvantages of bi-/multilingualism outside the family.
