The first of three books following the very popular descriptions of "Life in the World Unseen," contains spirit scripts received clairaudiently by Anthony Borgia from Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson, a friend of his schooldays. Benson, a distinguished priest in the early days of the 20th Century, discovered, when he arrived in the World of Spirit, the woeful inaccuracy of the Church''s teachings in this world. Whilst, aiding those who arrived in the spirit world in terror and distress at the expectations of "Judgement" and "Hell", he set about trying to tell this world of the mangled writings and errors in the New Testament and teachings of the Church, to help the souls still here. He also includes a section on the most effective way to pray. It is almost 70 years since these books were first published but help is still sorely needed.

Benson, a distinguished priest in the early days of the 20th Century, discovered, when he arrived in the World of Spirit, the inaccuracy of the Church''s statements in the ''creeds''. In these chapters he explains Jesus'' ''miracles'', the truth behind the false statements in the ''creeds'', and condemns the woefully inapt prayers used in the Burial Service and the lack of support for those in mourning. In these pages he suggests how it is necessary to develop our latent psychic powers so that we might communicate freely with our loved ones as was always intended.

It is almost 75 years since these books were first published but help is still sorely needed for those devotees still here on Earth overcome the terror of what they imagine awaits them on after death. 

Following the success of his first books, Anthony Borgia received a deluge of letters requesting more information on various aspects of spirit and the afterlife. In response, Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson was able to furnish information which answered many of the questions. The resulting book was first published in a question-and-answer format.

Later it was republished, without the original questions and with the contents subdivided into three sections; the threshold between this life and the next; the spirit world; and the spirit personality. Details are given of the perfections and permanence of the life after death, of the surroundings in which they live, of their pursuits and activities, and of the means of progress along the road to a higher perfection.

Light is also shed on the way in which communication is possible between the inhabitants of the spirit world and their earth-bound contacts. Thought-transference, thought-communication and thought-power play their vital role in constructing the fabric of the spirit world -a world of harmony, peace and order-where fatigue is unknown.
