This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the CAiSE Forum 2024 which was held in Limassol, Cyprus, in June 2024, as part of the 36th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering, CAiSE 2024.The CAiSE Forum is a place within the CAiSE conference for presenting and discussing new ideas and tools related to information systems engineering. Intended to serve as an interactive platform, the Forum aims at the presentation of emerging new topics and controversial positions, as well as demonstration of innovative systems, tools and applications. This year a special emphasis was given on Information Systems in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. The Forum received 31 submissions; 8 submissions were invited from the CAISE main research track. Out of the 23 regular submissions, 11 papers have been accepted. The 18 papers included in these proceedings include 10 vision papers and 8 tool demonstration papers.

This book contains the refereed proceedings of two long-running events held along with the CAiSE conference relating to the areas of enterprise, business-process and information systems modeling:- the 25th International Conference on Business Process Modeling, Development and Support, BPMDS 2024, and- the 29th International Conference on Exploring Modeling Methods for Systems Analysis and Development, EMMSAD 2024.The conferences were taking place in Limassor, Cyprus, during June 3–4, 2024.For BPMDS 8 full papers and 3 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected for publication from a total of 25 submissions; for EMMSAD 11 full papers and 5 short papers were accepted from a total of 32 submissions after thorough reviews.The BPMDS papers deal with a broad range of theoretical and applications-based research in business process modeling, development and support. EMMSAD focusses on modeling methods for systems analysis and development.

The BPMDS papers deal with a broad range of theoretical and applications-based research in business process modeling, development and support.For EMMSAD 13 full papers and 3 short papers were accepted from a total of 37 submissions after thorough reviews. EMMSAD focusses on modeling methods for systems analysis and development.

Domain engineering is a set of activities intended to develop, maintain, and manage the creation and evolution of an area of knowledge suitable for processing by a range of software systems.  It is of considerable practical significance, as it provides methods and techniques that help reduce time-to-market, development costs, and project risks on one hand, and helps improve system quality and performance on a consistent basis on the other. In this book, the editors present a collection of invited chapters from various fields related to domain engineering. The individual chapters present state-of-the-art research and are organized in three parts. The first part focuses on results that deal with domain engineering in software product lines. The second part describes how domain-specific languages are used to support the construction and deployment of domains. Finally, the third part presents contributions dealing with domain engineering within the field of conceptual modeling. All chapters utilize a similar terminology, which will help readers to understand and relate to the chapters content. With this book, Onn Shehory and Arnon Sturm, together with further contributors, introduce the reader to various facets of agent-oriented software engineering (AOSE). They provide a selected collection of state-of-the-art findings, which combines research from information systems, artificial intelligence, distributed systems and software engineering and covers essential development aspects of agent-based systems.The book chapters are organized into five parts. The first part introduces the AOSE domain in general, including introduction to agents and the peculiarities of software engineering for developing MAS. The second part describes general aspects of AOSE, like architectural models, design patterns and communication. Next, part three discusses AOSE methodologies and associated research directions and elaborates on Prometheus, O-MaSE and INGENIAS. Part four then addresses agent-oriented programming languages.
