Schema matching is the task of providing correspondences between concepts describing the meaning of data in various heterogeneous, distributed data sources. Schema matching is one of the basic operations required by the process of data and schema integration, and thus has a great effect on its outcomes, whether these involve targeted content delivery, view integration, database integration, query rewriting over heterogeneous sources, duplicate data elimination, or automatic streamlining of workflow activities that involve heterogeneous data sources. Although schema matching research has been ongoing for over 25 years, more recently a realization has emerged that schema matchers are inherently uncertain. Since 2003, work on the uncertainty in schema matching has picked up, along with research on uncertainty in other areas of data management. This lecture presents various aspects of uncertainty in schema matching within a single unified framework. We introduce basic formulations of uncertainty and provide several alternative representations of schema matching uncertainty. Then, we cover two common methods that have been proposed to deal with uncertainty in schema matching, namely ensembles, and top-K matchings, and analyze them in this context. We conclude with a set of real-world applications. This book constitutes the proceedings of the BPM 2025 Responsible BPM Forum, Process Technology Forum, and Educators Forum held at the 23rd International Conference on Business Process Management, BPM 2025, which took place in Seville, Spain, during September 2025. The Responsible Business Process Management (RBPM) Forum provides a platform for exploring how to integrate responsibility into BPM practices, addressing challenges from three perspectives: technological, managerial, and conceptual. The Process Technology Forum covers technical and engineering aspects related to the study, design, development, and maintenance of software systems that support the modeling, simulation, analysis, enactment, and monitoring of business processes. The Educators Forum deals with possibilities to improve BPM teaching in a dynamic and practice-oriented way.The total of 32 papers included in this book was carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 65 papers submitted to these forums.

NGITS2002 was the ?fth workshop of its kind, promoting papers that discuss new technologies in information systems. Following the success of the four p- vious workshops (1993, 1995, 1997, and 1999), the ?fth NGITS Workshop took place on June 24–25, 2002, in the ancient city of Caesarea. In response to the Call for Papers, 22 papers were submitted. Each paper was evaluated by three Program Committee members. We accepted 11 papers from 3 continents and 5 countries, Israel (5 papers), US (3 papers), Germany, Cyprus, and The Netherlands (1 paper from each). The workshop program consisted of ?ve paper sessions, two keynote lectures, and one panel discussion. The topics of the paper sessions are: Advanced Query Processing, Web Applications, Moving Objects, Advanced Information Models, and Advanced Software Engineering. We would like to thank all the authors who submitted papers, the program committee members, the presenters, and everybody who assisted in making NGITS2002 a reality.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 10th International Conference on Business Process Management, BPM 2012, held in Tallinn, Estonia, in September 2012. The 17 regular papers and 7 short papers included in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 126 submissions. The book also features two keynote lectures which were given at the conference. The papers are organized in topical sections named: process quality; conformance and compliance; BPM applications; process model analysis; BPM and the cloud; requirements and performance; process mining; and refactoring and optimization.
