Badloch Vera Noldus – författare

Dutch architecture in 17th Sweden, featuring estates, manors, palaces and gardens designed by Dutch architects or built on behalf of Dutchmen in Sweden. The book also highlights the history of Dutch clients as they had a large infuence on the architecture. Among these clients, Louis de Geer plays a central role. Moreover, it describes the role that the Dutch played in the foundation and development of the city of Gothenburg in the 1600s, a century when the Dutch connection had great significance in Swedish trade, culture and sciences.
